R. CHRISTOPHER OWEN, ESQ.
Mr. Owen was admitted to practice in 1980. He is a graduate of the Albany Law School of Union University. Prior to the formation of Owen & Eddy, Mr. Owen specialized in the defense of personal injury matters, including the defense of physicians in medical malpractice claims. He has successfully tried many cases to verdict, both jury and bench trials. He currently specializes in the areas of personal injury, disability income claims and matrimonial litigation. He is a recipient of the New York State Bar Association President's Pro Bono Award and is past president of the Northern Westchester Bar Association. Mr. Owen is certified by the Counties of Westchester and Putnam to represent qualifying individuals in the family courts of the state of New York. He continues to provide pro bono legal services to indigent individuals through the Legal Services of Hudson Valley.
W. DAVID EDDY, JR. ESQ.
Mr. Eddy was admitted to practice in 1984 and is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law. Before forming the firm, Mr. Eddy practiced in the field of catastrophic personal injury litigation, products liability and medical malpractice defense. He currently specializes in real estate, trusts and estates and bankruptcy/foreclosure practice and is certified by Westchester County to represent qualifying individuals in the family court. Mr Eddy speaks fluent Japanese and serves as President of MJM. He currently serves on the White Plains Conservation Board and is a member of the White Plains Rotary Club. Mr. Eddy lives in White Plains, NY and has been the author of several neighborhood newsletters as well as authoring a history of Stone Pond, New Hampshire. Mr. Eddy is a former history teacher at Hackley School in Tarrytown.
